I want to be able to download tunes from Bama. I know that the Diablo is a serial port so I need to get a serial to usb adaptor,. Also, it looks like I will need a power adaptor so I can plug it in to the wall for power. Any idea which AC adaptor is needed?
Also, is there a program I need to install on my computer or is that already in the diablo and will download once plugged into my computer?
Anyone went to Radio Shack for these parts? If so, any idea the part numbers or and info that would be helpful?

Looks pretty basic to me 12 V and 1000 ma standard probably would be fine

You will need to go to diablo's website and download the program DS Downloader.

Here is the serial to USB adapter that RS sells.
cat# 26-183 6ft USB to Serial CABLE
or
cat# 26-949 GigaWare 6ft USB-A to Serial CABLE

Be aware that some software wont recognize
an emulated USB-Serial as a regular hardware
Serial port.
