Default Extreme Gear Whine on Decel

Well I have been battling gear whine for some time, lastly all whine is gone except for deceleration, no matter what gear or speed when I am off the accelerator there is hellish whine, anybody have any ideas?

Depends on when the noise appeared and who did the 3.73 install.

get that car to a trans shop before you bake the rear end. You can bake a gear in 5 miles.
