Hey guys

I apologise for posing such an open-ended question... I'm moving up from my SIXXER - looking to buy a GT & suddenly find myself considering buying one of several supercharged Mustangs. I saw a nice GT with KB and I'm also considering a Saleen and a Roush. So your opinions all helped a LOT and now I feel like I can evaluate the S/C set-up on each car & what to expect (whine..etc.) well enough to know if I like it. I'll use the search function to refine my research going forward..

I am very happy with my Procharger d1sc. Like mentioned earlier you really can't go wrong with any of them. I think the biggest mistake people make is not having them dyno tuned. That is the main reason I went with the Procharger because it was the one my tuner recommended.

I don't think there really is a "best" kit on the market. All of them have pluses and minuses in terms of performance, price, install, behavior, etc. My advice is to figure out what it is you want from the supercharger, who is going to install/tune it, how much money you can spend, comfort level with the amount of power you want, etc etc.

I am content with my Vortech for a variety of reasons. If money were absolutely no issue and I wanted to build the bottom end, etc, I'd have a different kit. But then again, most people would probably say the same. I went for the kit that most fit the various requirements I had. In the end, boost is boost.

Wtf is up with these "Whats the best supercharge" popping up everywhere lately?

Seriously guys, I see more of these now than CAI + TUNE or WHEEL & TIRE threads!

DO A SEARCH!!! There are 100's of them.

I think in addition to the CAI thread we need an official BOOSTED thread...
