My saleen blower snuffs out 501hp on 10lbs of boost at the wheels along with kooks long tubes and NSR blower cams. Stock block, It will last forever at this power level on the street. But at the track is another story. My last mustang blew the motor at 12lbs on the stock block putting out about the same power. I would run the stage 3 if you plan on going to the track and keeping the stock motor. I'll let you guys know what this car runs and if it holds together.

I'm going to wait and see what she runs at the track with the 3:73's. And she is way to loud!

I can't wait to hear it. My decision to go catless or not hinges on it. I suspect it's the same for Mishri.

Now if this winter weather would just GTFO...

As to the original question, i would stick with their "Stage 3" kit and then get a 3.2" pulley with a fresh tune. I'm not sure why their stage 3 is a 3.4" and the stage 4 is a 3.0. Personally, I would not trust a 3.0 pulley on a stock block for very long on anyone elses tune besides JDM. So I think a 3.2" running a 10.5-11.5 A/F should be safe even at the occasional track. It should give you a minimum of 10lbs of boost with an oversized WP pulley and a fresh tensioner.
This should generate at least 450 rwhp on a dyno jet, some have gotten as high as 490. Good luck with your decision. Learn as much as you can before purchasing.

Brenspeed recommends an upgraded short block with the use of their Stage 4 kit.

+1, and to the original post, the stage 3 kit should do a lot for ya... I would stick with the stage 3, and just run a 3.2 pulleys. the 3.4 pulleys could get you where you want also with a stock block...
