The dealer that I have been working with is called Larry Roesch Ford located in Elk Grove, IL which is just west of Chicago...

To answer your question: HE IS THE FORD DEALER...

They modify several 2005 Mustangs with high performance add-ons so I trust his knowledge about the warranty issue...

But to error on the side of caution, I will check it out "one more time" with him and get back to you...
