Default 298 stroker and cams

I am considering a stroked forged rotating assembly from Livernois or Modular Mustang Racing. And before people start, I know that MMR's reputation isn't the greatest, but they are only company I have been able to find that sell an entire rotating assembly using Diamond pistons. Diamond pistons appear to be the best on the market, from what I have found. My greatest concern is piston to valve clearance with the stroker and Comp Cams stage 2 XFI VSR cams. No one seems to be able to tell me if I will have a clearance issue or if I will need valve reliefs cut into the pistons with the setup. I don't care for having material removed from the top of the piston, thereby weakening it. I'd like to see about 550rwhp, so the valve relieves may not be an issue, but I'm not sure. Any advice?

Yeah Livernois is your best bet. They'll also know about any clearance issues since they build with comp cams.

I put out that warning as a member or 2 had issues with the built motor from MMR...they had turbos I believe and somewhere in the 600+ RWHP range

I have read good things too but just wanted all to know....glad the MMR is great for you bobby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
