I'm with you guys, my wife gets pissed some times because I talk about my car too much and I have to log on here to keep her from complaining. Boy those guys in the late 60's must have drove their wives crazy.

My wife doesn't complain about the car at all (or the money, because... well, I work and she doesn't!). She knows how much I've wanted this car. Plus, she is a big drag racing fan, too. We go to several NHRA national events every year (Pomona and Vegas twice each, plus Phoenix). The only thing she gives me a little stink-eye about is spending too much time on the computer. LOL We've been married almost 27 years, so we must be doing something right.

Yeah, mine's not bad...goes with me every time when I show it at the local car show and lets me park in the garage, but none of my friends are car guys so I always find my self telling my wife this or that, but thats what she gets for giving me play by play updates on her day at work.

There is nothing wrong with the fox body style I love it just the retro style of the 05 has had me hooked since seeing it as a concept when I go to car shows and look at the dash of a firsr generation mustang it looks so much like it.The first generation Mustang was the first car as a kid that I wanted when I got older.

I am sooo the same - I love my car. I wash it so often that everybody pokes fun at me as it is constantly shining and waxed - I dont care though as I want it to constantly look like a brand new car!

These GT's rock - no other car even comes close!

I understand.... I have bought a lot of chrome stuff for under the hood & for the interior, also a new Boss 429 hood scoop,
new SS grill, louvers, center caps, strut tower covers, plenum cover...... spending way to much..... but it is alot of fun

I never said they aren't great looking cars... but they don't scream "classic" Mustang styling. That is the main reason I bought the 2005. If they hadn't changed the styling this year, I wouldn't have bought one. Simple as that for me. Just my $0.02...
