Bruce a custom tune can be night and day and glad your happy!
I am still around and have had the Whipple for 2 yrs now! No issues here and the motor is holding up well!
Been out 5 times this yr and plan on many more. this was the first yr I was able to take the car out before May!!!!
Have many shows and a online mag coming up and hope to be more active in my car club...(they have heard that one before)
Plans to forge and stroke the motor to 5.0L specs and up the boost to 16 psi within the next yr or so.....cant wait!

whipple's been on for about 14 months now, only 4000 miles on it since then. holding up well. no plans to forge or shortblock, gonna see how long it lasts as is. just bought a 92 LX 5.0 w/ 60k miles for $3500, and that is emptying the wallet presently, having fun w/ it so far, no mods on it yet but planning on just some bolt on CAI, exhaust and keep it simple. i'm still on here everyday when i'm at work, and i post a few times a day mostly in the general s197 section, but now i'm looking at the 5.0 section too. so as you can see i'm alive and well and still raising H-E-double hockey stick.
this is a nice whipple crew reunion, Hammer. thanks for hosting.

14 months now and I'm finally starting to get over the money I spent. Over 14k miles and drive the car every single day. I have 26k on the car and the only thing wrong is my stock clutch and rusty brake rotors.
The Whipple rocks!!

Sweet convention -but dont put me down for any raffle tickets as the oil is good for 100,000 miles!
if Whipple crew members do want to buy tickets I will split the profits with the forum and hamerron and myself for some mod money to forge our motors!

Still going strong. 15 months and about 3K miles. Solidly built blower. I'll be showing it off tomorrow (Saturday) night at the Chalmette Cruise Night right outside of New Orleans if anyone is local.

Had my H/O Whipple for a week now. Absolutely love it for the mid-range power I get. I felt the car was running out of breath before S/C, in 4th and 5th gear. Now it is a blast. Hard to get the power down the road on stock tires and clutch, so I am now looking at summer tires (don't want the Nittos as I would need new rims). I know the FMRPP Whipple kit is expensive, and the fun and power you get compared to other exotics is well worth it. Hope reliability is there though, so I'll post back after my first six months. I use the car as a daily driver.
