i bought a red 05 GT coupe about 4 months ago, and decided to open her up on a long road near my home, now im gonna be honest she flew like a bat out of hell but once i reached about 110mph-115mph the hood did indeed jump and flex like some of the roumors i've heard , and honestly that scared the crap out of me, so i took it to a friend of mine that does custom work on mustangs and he said it was an on-going problem with the 05 gt because of the grill design, anywho we fixed the problem by cutting a hole in the top of the hood and fixing a double airated hood scoop to the hood itself, later that day i opened the car up again and pushed her to 130mph and guess what? no flexing.......so theres your answer to your problem haha
