RE: When do YOU shift (manuals)
After putting the CAI and SLPs in, I *thought* I might have to re-adjust my ears to get the right time to shift... but the uper midrange pull that the car has now is so loud that it is very easy to discern over the sound of the radio...

I usually go by the tach most of the time because of that shaker 1000 be bumpin. Those of you who have that upgrade knows its very difficult if not impossible to shift by sound alone when you have the volume up 50% or more. But as for me, I baby her when cruisin no higher than 3k in gears 1-4. But racin, u know 6k is A O K![sm=smiley32.gif]

I don't get it...
How the heck do you know when you all have been shifting when under full throttle?
I'm too busy keeping my eyes on the road! That front end likes to lift!
As for when the auto shifts, I have no idea when I'm pedal-to-the-metal. And normal shifts are so smooth I find it hard to tell if it's even shifting!

That may be the best solution. With the way the gauges are deep set, passengers in the front can't read them. I guess if you have a midget friend he could sit in the back and let you know... :-)
