I found a significant difference with a Diablo, especially with the stock Throttle-By-Wire. I'd recommend it if you don't have a dyno nearby as the Diablos are quite customiZeable. ((Blah! My Z key wont work if I don't hit Shift. =p))
You should try to stop "spilling stuff" on your keyboard.

It's nice to see that some of you finally replied to this. Though the responses were few, it seems the general consensus is that the canned tunes ARE worth the dough. But I have to tell you, I'm really wrestling with myself on spending $650 for a C&L and a Predator. That's about $25 a lousy horse! Still, Ide like to have the son of a be-atch though!

Keep in mind that you are paying for the utility of the Pred... it will get you more horses down the line as you make more improvements... got a CEL, plug in the Pred and find out what it is... I did this... CEL after putting the C+L in and putting the correct (I thought) tune in... CEL... hmm... engine is too lean... WTF... then I looked and realized I put the wrong tune in... tada! No more CEL. Heck, you can even turn the speed limiter off... If it helps, consider the Pred seperate... consider it a diagnostic tool and the C+L gives you something like $10 a horse... acceptable???

hawgman how did you do that? 299?
Can i see your dyno and compare?
can you send your tune file?
What is your A/F Ratio?
What Octane did you tune?

was dyno tuned on Wed and here are some results:
http://s36.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2...E07UP3AU36F3AU
MOD:
C$L CAI
Bassani Axel Back
Bassani XPIPE WITH COMP CATS
Diablo Predator with my S.T. Motorsports custom dyn0o- tune done by Adam.
Revlimter moved up to 6500
Weather was hot as crap about 105 outside the shop...

MAX POWER 285
MAX TORQUE 300
A/F Ratio 12.6- 13

Notes:Adjusted Revlimter up to 6800. Noticed that it had some power at 6000-6300 or so. Then we readjusted the rev limiter back down to 6500 because we noticed power decrease just before that. Then we adjusted the variable cam timing. I must of had about 10 pulls or more...
I am taking it back on sat because we want to see were it is at in cooler temps. I thouhgt i could pull 290-95 MAX POWER, dyno's hurt feelings but i still think 290-295 is possible.

DYNORUN 1 BASELINE-
MAX POWER 271.00
MAX TORQUE 288.2

I am sure that if the temp was 30 degrees cooler that the hp / tq would be up where you would not have been disappointed.
