I did 6 years in Germany. Man, it is PAINFUL to be able to drive like that for so long, and then come back to the US with slow speed limits and retard drivers.

Yeah I echo this. I have pegged mine though but I'm powered by a brenspeed tune.

how did you calculate that?

I have a tomtom. I have taken the car up to 150-155 several times where and when conditions allow, but this particular time has story with it. I went out after dynoing the car that morning. The weather was beautiful and wanted take a cruise on the 81 south toward Singen. It's a really nice stretch that usually allows for some safe high speed stretches. I was just about to exit and return to Stuttgart when I spot a massarati approaching in the mirror. We had a blast! The traffic wasn't bad and were able to really open them
up.

No, I couldn't take him, but was able to hang with him for the most part

210 KPH, about 130mph,

Just wondering though, some have said that on 2005 + models the hood can fly up when going 140 +,
Does that inclue the 10? They improved the aerodynamics on the 10 I wonder if that is in the new dynamics or are 10's at the same risk.
We get some nasty wind here and so far so good.

My hood has buckled from the beginning but never unlatched itself.

I have recently had my 2010 past 140 MPH. Dont know for sure top speed because the speedo stops at 140, but I was past 140 by some distance. No vibration or other problems from the hood. The car was rock solid.

Had mine at our local road track two summers ago. For most of my laps I was hitting ~135 on the front straight before I had to start braking for the first corner.

On one of the last laps though I must have come out of the final corner just right because as I was coming up on my brake point, I had just taken my foot off the accelerator and I glanced at the speedometer; it was north of 140 and starting to come down so not sure exactly what the top speed was...but it was fast. A little scary too but in a good way ;-)

GPS doesn't lie, and the C&D test applies to stock mustangs.
