Default Anyone installed high flow feul rails on a KB?

I have the Metco 11/16" rails installed and had to go through some changes in order to make them work and I was wondering if anyone else has a different setup installed.

No help here, just curious what PSI you are running?

Sorry to get off topic (no, I run factory rails in my setup, only got the 39lb injectors), but are you running the factory TB still? Sorta looks like it in the pic..

And how do you like your Eagle F1's? Do they hook well?

From what I've read and understood about our fuel rails and fuel system is the limiting piece in the system is the line size running to the fuel rail. The rail itself seems to flow enough to keep up with the fuel line. I remember reading an article on KBs website talking about the imits of the stock system. It seems the stock fuel lines are good for somewhere in the 700rwhp range. That number will vary slightly depending upon the type of power adder.

At 17 psi I would think you would make a ittle more power with the 2.6KB. My guess is you don't have the large TB (130mm) on it?

That was my guess.. curious to know if that is indeed the stock TB. KB rates the stock TB at 620 rwhp, but if that is the limit, how much is it restricting flow at 17 psi with a built motor?.. They say the stage 2 TB adds about 20 hp at 9psi, so even at 440rwhp the factory one is restrictive.
Just following the 16 rwhp per psi of boost equation that KB advertises, based on my own numbers of 440rwhp on 8.5psi with the 2.6L, I would expect around 575rwhp.. That is if the motor is built forged but to factory specs.. if its a stroker or there are heads or cams I would expect more..

BTW, I have read on other forums that some people running in that power range went BACK to factory fuel rails after the aftermarket ones caused issues, particularly with idle and fuel pressure. One was a KB owner and one a Vortech owner. I don't know the brand they were trying, but the factory one worked better up in the 550-600 rwhp range.

I have Aeromotive fuel rails with a Whipple. I main reason I did it was that I didn't like the spot where the fuel pressure meter was connected. I was using a tighten clamp and the like would start leaking about every three months, so I would have to replace it. I went with the fuel rails and stainless steel AN lines to get more secure connections and peace of mind. The thought of leaking fuel just seemed to be a nightmare waiting to come true.

I finally hit 500 miles on my new motor and found the time to take my car back to MV performance for an all out pull. Just wanted to see what it would do on 93 pump gas, made 617rwhp / 575 tq. Don't think I'm moving enough air for a larger TB to do me any good. I've read the same thing about line size being the limiting factor.

Go to KB's website and look at their tech articles. I beleive when ST motorsports was doing tuning on them he found a large jump in performance when our motors were at 550 rwhp.

As soon as my kitchen is done be remodeled I'm ordering the KB 2.6l.

I'm looking for around 550 rwhp on pump (91) and 600+ with a pulley change and 100 octane. I've spoke with a few tuners out there and they said it was easy to get there.
