my bullitt has a few mods done to it including full exhaust....click on my signature, it will kind of give you an idea of what to expect as far as sound goes.

The Setup is Longtubes, off-road x-pipe, and macs

As far as mods go....I would say start with a Cold-Air kit and tune, maybe add some different mufflers, see how you like it and go from there.

Thats from a 55 year old, almost!

.....its your car, mod it they way you want. Some like it stock, most like it modified. Visit the IMBOC website, they can help give you more ideas.

The New Steve Mcqueen,

Just having fun and giving you a hard time.

Mine was a daily driver and I drove it hard at times!

Only one ticket so far!

You really need to define your end goal here. Is it just more power or major power increases your looking for? What is your budget? Can you afford the cost to fix if something goes wrong? FI is an awesome road to take but you must truly consider all the costs before going through that door.

Hey guys I have a few questions on this subject too. I have an 07 gt and just broke 20k miles, I def am going to go FI when I can but I eventually want to get into the 6-700 hp range. So would I be better off to go ahead and get the internals and do the FI afterwords? If so what kind of $ am I looking at for the bottom end?

Thanks,
David

Necro posting? LOL

600-700 Hp is a LOT of power. If that number is what your stuck on you will definitely need to build up the motor. No way is a stock motor holding that much power. Costs involved.....I am guessing here, built up motor $5-10k, blower kit capable of high boost $6-8k, cams and longtubes $2k+, assorted suspension parts, gauges misc parts $2k. Are you doing the install? Ouch if your not. Dont forget tires, you will need DRs on the street thats for sure. Look at peoples signatures, there is a reason why most guys with FI are under 500 HP. Its way cheaper and more functional for street driving. The track is a different story.
