Help with CAI/Tuner Combos
#11
Long Tubes are definitely one of the things I see myself installing. I think it makes good sense to invest in the bigger MAF now so it's a one-time buy. I want to keep the car NA with the addition of most popular bolt ons. So looks like C&L racer might be the way to go

I just had the FRPP performance package installed (CAI, mufflers, calibration) (also have FRPP 4.10s and short shifter). Have never driven a GT with one of the other tunes but can say the Ford Racing is great. Much better throttle response, power, higher redline, nice dashpot, feels like a totally different car. If I power shift it leaves at least ten feet of rubber on the street on 1-2 upshift and solid chirp on 2-3.

All the major brands have a large conical filter popped on the end. It wont make any difference really, and JLT was $75 cheaper when I bought my intake from Brenspeed.
Same thing really as an Xcal, just not supported by some tuners.
