Have an opportunity to get my hands on a used tuner kit for under $3500. Would this not be recommended since last I heard Techco was not around anymore? I believe I would need new plugs, injectors, fuel system (dual pumps or BAP?), correct?

Anyone have any experience or heard anything good or bad with the Techco?

I haven't heard anything good or bad about them. I'd be weary of getting something from a company that's not around anymore, especially a kit that's not complete.

Not a bad supercharger. However, like candymanjl noted, product support will be a challenge. And the price is to high for a tuner.

There is a used one on the S197 forums right now for $3,500 if I didn't already have a Kenne Bell I would buy it.

for a good deal it's worth the risk, the one in that link isn't missing that much, few hundred bucks worth of stuff.

I'm not sure what pulley he was running (13?) but the original owner of the one @ s197 made 577whp and ran a low 11@128 with it.

PM vasman, he has one and I believe he's had nothing but good things to say about it.

As far as support goes, Brenspeed still sells them so they might be able to provide some tech support with it.
