Default The seas will boil and the dead shall rise...

and the Chevykiller will scorch the earth once more...

Took a year to finish the ultimate 3V street/strip stang and had a lot of snags along the way, but the chevykiller has risen again.

Tuned up and ready for the track! As soon as the tracks re-open after the holidays, I will unleash the beast... Some new 3V records are about to be set!...

Some teasers...

Heres some pictures taken while on the dyno. Notice the HP line before 6500 rpms going straight up before the intake pipe blew off the intake, and the tires started spinning lol We will weld a bracket so that wont happen again. Since its running a oval throttle body thats the only pipe that doesnt have a V-band.

In super-duper safe mode for now...lol

Some teaser vids...

Street/strip vids coming soon!...

It is A LOT more horsepower than that...lol You have to understand - on a roller dyno, once we get around 800, it blows the tires off the rollers and we get out of it. Look at the dyno chart - it is at 800 at only 6300 rpm and the line is going straight up like a mountain. It will keep pulling and building power through 8000 rpm. I am going to be shifting at 7400 rpm.

I think it is at about 1100 rwhp right now if the dyno could hold it.

I believe in this very conservative tune up (only 10º of timing and 10.4 a/f) it is easily going to see mid 8's it's first time out at around 170 mph and I'll slowly turn her up. And I will be DRIVING her to the track...lol

By spring, I'm hoping to see a 7.9x @ 180 mph...

I'm going to run her for awhile at 22 psi with 10º of timing and 10/5 a/f and I know it will be in the mid 8's.

When I 'go for the gusto' in spring, it will be at 25 psi and somewhere in the neighborhood of 16-18º with a 10.9 a/f.

That's the fastest I've seen a car run trough the RPMs. That's serious power!
