I just got the car 4 weeks ago.

Also, I am enjoying my car. I would not have bought it if I didn't enjoy it to begin with! I don't believe a Mustang GT NEEDS mods. However, like I said earlier I do plan to mod the car. I just do not plan on making major modification that is beyond just a CAI+tune, cat-back exhaust, and suspension. I think the Mustang GT is a great car as-is. Modding it just makes it better and more personalized. However, I would still be 100% satisfied with a completely stock GT as well.

Absolutely and to each his own. I often come a little unglued, however, when some people THINK they'll void their warranty if they install a CAI & tune and few other "put some power down" mods and use that silly mind-set as the ONLY reason not to mod.

I told my wife the car was perfect when I bought it and would not need to spend any money on it for a LONG TIME. Lets just say I was full of ****!!! It is to much fun to play with it. Mod it and enjoy it.

NEVER say things like that to your wife! It can come back to haunt you later.

Believe me, modding is in my blood. I've been into fast cars and bikes for a long time and most of them have been modded.

But I do want to take my time and enjoy the car as-is first and carefully plan and think through what I really want to do to it. I do draw the line at Supercharging....I would much rather wait for the 5.0 Mustang!

Yeah, she knew I was full of poo when I said it. But it helped me get the car, so. Sometimes little white lies are good
