Sounds like a good deal. What are your impressions with this filter?

per-formance wise, its the same as the C&L one,( who knows) but this one is 100X easier to clean.

and I like not having oil slung on the Mass Air Flow Sensor.

I have been wanting to get one for a while. Then I lost my job, then I stored the car.
we will see what spring brings. Much better looking thank my "pink" JLT filter. lol.

Actually its the oil, the filter looks near gray when cleaned.

From what I have been seeing it appears the economy has been rebounding somewhat.

And yeah it's the oil, OIL on filter FTL.
Makes the mass air flow sensor a sad panda.

If you oil it properly it wont give you any problems. But thats pretty much a day downtime of the car unless you have a filter you can swap it with.
Clean the filter, let it dry, oil filter, let it stand for a while. A day with no ride blows!

I have that same Amsiol Filter. Occasionally the hose clamps at the throttle body loosen and it "falls" down slightly and rubs.

I think I just need to invest in some T-bolt style clamps instead of the el-cheapo ones.

The Gauze Filters on most of the CAI's are S&B. They make a dry filter as well.
