Default SLP Loudmouths.....hmmm

Hi guys, So I'm deciding to buy the SLP Loudmouths..however I can't seem to tell how loud they actually are through youtube videos. I'v got a Mustang GT '07 Auto, bone stock and am wondering how much louder would it really be if I got the SLP's assuming the stock engine is a 5 on a scale of 1-10... (10 being loudest...). Also, is it loud on idle as well or just on high revs..

Edit: Thing is I live in a Nanny State country so I got to be sure its not retardedly loud enough to get me a ticket or attract too much attention....

are there much mustangs in Dubai?
the LM muffler delete axle backs are pretty loud.
with an otherwise stock exhaust on your scale of 1-10, i would say the LM is a 7.
it is not loud on idle, just low and bass sounding.
but it gets loud on higher rpms.
i give it a 7/10 bc of the stock cats and stock exhaust manifolds.
change those to LT's and o/r x pipe and you would have something much closer to 10/10.

You will get a ticket on a cold morning and if you ever punch it with a cop within a few hundred feet. You will get attention. If you don't want it, stick with the stock exhaust.

If stock is a 5, SLP is a 7 or 8.

Hmm,but I guess if I keep the pedal under control and the revs low in certain areas I should get along fine... to onederful, yeah there are a few about...not too common but not uncommon either...

He lives in Dubai, I doubt he has to worry about extremely cold mornings or cops worrying abount loud cars.

I agree with the cold mornings bit...the other half..unless I was a local Arab from Dubai it's not easy getting away.

Also, did any of you LM owners out there experience HP loss/gain or break even..?

On just a axle back, I don't know that you will see much movement in HP, you would need a full cat-back or even better, a header back exhaust combo to see a pickup in HP. LM1's in my opinion are the only exhaust capable of hitting the 10 mark. They are a good 7-8 by themselves, couple that with a aftermarket x or h pipe, especially if it is a offroad pipe and you will hit 10.

I can't afford to hit 10...the axle backs are loud enough on their own I can't imagine the whole setup..so I guess I'll settle with no HP rather than my car getting impounded..

I just installed SLP LM and I love them. When you first start the car they are loud, but they mellow out after a min or so. Because I live in Cali, I have to be a little careful. There is a noise limit here and SLPs exceed that.

I stated my thoughts wrong earlier. I meant "cold startups" will be loud.

Also, he says he lives in nanny state. He will get a ticket if he's no careful.
