starting my Kenne Bell build
#21
not yet, I had to move some money out of one account into another, once that clears I'll call and order the kit
they did say they had everything in stock so that's good. at least when I'm ready to order the kit I won't have to wait on parts or anything.

ordered the Kenne Bell Stage 2 today!
I did notice one thing, if there is anything a little misleading on their dyno's it's that you don't rev out to 6500rpm, you keep the stock rev limit point. so because you don't rev out that last little bit I doubt it'll hit the 522whp number. I forgot to ask them what it should dyno with the stock rev limit, I'll find out. even still it should be a lot of fun

the stage 2 is basically their regular kit but with an oval 130mm throttle body instead of the stock throttle body. this gives you some power gains over the stock TB out of the box and once you build the motor and crank the boost you really notice the difference. they show dyno's on their site comparing everything. on the 4" pulley the stage 1 kit is 8.5psi and 501whp. the same pulley on the stage 2 kit is 9psi and 522whp. that's if you're revving to 6500rpm like their site shows.
it seems like 700whp or so is the limit you can run on pump gas. the stage 2 kit will get you very close to that (once you're built) without going for the Mammoth kit which is a tuner kit, no fuel parts or tune.

just got an email reply from Kenne Bell today and the kit is supposed to ship out by next tuesday, that puts the kit here by the following tuesday the 23rd. they also said that with the stock rev limit I should be around 475whp-490whp. Not too bad
now it's the waiting game at least I have other parts coming in before then to install those will help distract me for a little while.

ha ha, I emailed the guy at Kenne Bell helping me saying I'd bribe him to get it shipped out sooner not sure how far $1 will get me though
the other parts will take a little time to install. getting those done ahead of time will help make the supercharger kit a little less overwhelming to install.

ha ha, about the time I neaten up the garage the roommates spread everything out again, I can never win it's ok, for something like this I'm sure I can get them to help clean up
