Of course, given that you had the motor out and stripped, I should get on a plane and come slap you in the face for refitting those uglyass valve covers without coating or painting them first of course... But hey

Hope you have a great many fun filled miles with the new lump
Motor looks like it is stock hahaha Just a blower on top....I need to redo my exhaust with cutouts and a ****load of resonators and mufflers so it sounds stock too..

Well I FINALLY got my GT500 TB today. I am going backwards I swear!!!

Put it on, first thing I noticed is that the fuel line is scrapping off of it. This is due to the taller 60lb injectors. So I bought Fore Precision fuel rails from Lethal! so the fuel intake comes off the front of the rail instead of the top. I can also change the fuel pressure sender location so the intake is not sitting on the sender the way it is now.

Second problem is that the TB does not fit!!!!!! I will probably try switching the TPS over from the stock one to the GT500 one and see if it works! (Stock one is 1/4"-3/8" narrower!) Anyone done this?

I also have another project on the go on the inside of the car. But that is for another thread!!!!!!!

Default You should read some of my posts

If you think you are going backwards.

Feels like 3 steps forwards 4 steps back.
Over $65k into my car now & still under 500hp!

At least I'm forged now...

Got dyno tuned by Eric Brooks at Horsepower Solutions this past Thursday. Made 525whp. Dont have my slip yet.

Went to a car show today and won Best Car!!!!! Then on the way home this happened....

Blower pulley bolts snapped and the pulley came right off. I am not happy about this and I hope Steeda helps me out BIGTIME.

How did that happen? One time I had an idle pulley go and it twisted the belt at the snout of the blower and my blower started leaking so I had to have it rebuilt. You got lucky that it did no other damage to your car.
