Throttle body forward kit

Throttle body forward kit
I installed a K&N CAI a couple years ago, and a SCT X-Calibrator2 from Brenspeed. I remember reading an article comparing cold air intakes in which the JLT was the winner. JLT's intake is huge! I am thinking of buying the JLT with a throttle body and a spacer. Should I stick with what I have? or go for the JLT?

The throttle body spacers are paper weights. No reason to get one of them at all and they can cause clearance issues with CAI's. As for changing your CAI, you may get a little more power by going with either the JLT or C&L, but I doubt it will be a huge difference, just a couple of hp.
I'd stay with what you have and save up a little more and get either under drive pullies or a 1-piece aluminum drive shaft.

You can get the same amount of hp from an 83mm C and L verses an 89mm JLT on a stock Mustang. Bigger isn't better unless you plan on doing more extreme things to your engine down the line. For the money I don't think it's worth it unless you're rich.
