Here you go. . . I did order a red cap, but think the black actually works better.
On a positive note, the new res bolted right it, is very well constructed, and added a lot more fluid. Plenty of room for ice at the track. Thanks LP for picking up where Whipple left off!

Liberty, the hood closes without a problem?

A buddy of mine who owns a speedshop fabbed me up one a while ago, but when we shut the hood, the front corner poked out to high and wouldn't allow the hood to close completely. I'm sure Lethal checked for this, but figured I'd ask anyways since you got it on.

No problem closing the hood or any other clearance issues. LP did a good job with the dimensions.

Any body want to sell me their stock plastic one after they do this upgrade? Also looking for a stock Whipple heat exchanger in good condition...

i see one problem that no one has addressed. i have the aftermarket hood struts from quick elite and i had to grind away part of my braket that attaches the i/c reservoir to the fender bolt. the round end on the strut was hitting the i/c bracket and not letting the hood close all the way. if your installing hood struts the directions say pop rivet the bracket on at 25 1/2" down the hood. make it 24 1/2" and you will be o.k.
