Oils I like. Amsoil, Pennzoil Platinum, Mobil 1 Extended Performance. I beleive in full synthetic oils for newer cars. I stay with Ford recommended 5W20 (0W20 Amsoil). Use a good filter and change it with every oil change, such as Motorcraft, Purolator Pure One, Wix, Amsoil, K&N, Mobil 1. Motorcraft is probably the best bang for the buck and a damn good filter. Avoid Fram. Just my $.02 worth.

I think that you cant go wrong with the previous suggestions. I would definitely recommend a full synthetic either amsoil, or RP with a high quality filter. I prefer the RP oil filter with 6 quarts of the 5w-20 RP in my GT.
i use the motorcraft FULL SYNTHETIC 5w 20 with a k&n oil filter... the qts are 3.50 and it is damn good oil i have read alot of great thing about the motorcraft full synthetic oils

i guarantee you that penzoil leaving a bad plastic coating on the engine topic is just a rumor. Penzoil is good, but you should go synthetic (Royal purple/Mobil 1).
