Default Suggestions? Tune for an Automatic 05

Greetings.

I'm currently running a K&N CAI and Diablosport Predator in my GT.

I run my car locally on the 1/8 mile and run 93 octane in my car.

Just really trying to squeeze the most out of my CAI/Tune combo as most of my next mods are body.

Suggestions?

I have the C&L cold air intake and the Xcalibrator with a tune from Brenspeed. I have an auto also. I also have been playing around at the local 1/8th mile track. I posted this last night:

Temp F 167
Relative Humidity 57
Abs. Barometer 32.23

R/T .657
60' 2.188
330' 5.983
MPH 61.49
1/8th 9.006
MPH 80.19

Figured you could compare to your times and see if there is much more to squeeze for either one of us. I am running at the top of the pack with the full body streeters here. Haven't had any competition from any other mustang yet. I have gone head to head with several Cobras and a 2005 Roush.

What are you running with that? I am running 8.8s with my auto with what's in my sig. To get the most power out of it take it to a shop and get in dyno tuned.

I am getting mine dyno tuned on Friday after I get the delete plates put in. I had it dyno tuned before but the guy that did it messed it up. I am getting someone else to do it after they install my delete plates.

I was turning 8.91 consistantly with the shift points all set at +5 MPH. That shifts it at roughly 6300 RPM. However, I pulled the tune back to what comes in the programmer last wednesday. Before I reset the tune to DS's 91 Octane I ran 8.93. After, I still ran 8.93

I think this says something significant about the power curve, no?

With the stock P-zero's i slip a lot at the line and again on the shift from 1-2 and again from 2-3. My .657 reaction was after many runs trying to judge for wheel spin. My worst was 1.408 (AAGGGHH) Don't have a clue where you guys are from but is there a big temp or humidity difference? Bums me out that you guys run high 8's consistently. I had one run that I spun so bad the back end came around when shifting from 1-2 got VERY squirrley. Thank god for the great placement of the E-brake in the 05, got the rear pulled back in line in a hurry and tried to finish the run, UUUGGGLLYY wont give #'s but caught up to the Dodge Rumble B that I staged against and actually beat the guy. As I said before, I am in the top of the full body street cars that show up (and there were about 30 last night).

I live in Georgia. Humidity and temparatures are ridiculous here at the moment.

I ran last friday night and they didn't prep the track right. (No VHT). It's possible that you're going on a night when your track is unprepped. I ran between 9.1 and 9.8 (UGGHHH!). For the 9.8 run (my worst run since I bought the car) I spun well into second gear. Even walking the car from the line is pointless, as it hurts it more. Ghost, send me your AIM S/N in a PMessage and we'll talk.
