Trading the Zkiller for Neil's Twin Turbo Vette
#11
exactly. I personally hate how the Z06 isn't a hatch, the regular ones looks better to me. especially if you're going to build the motor getting a regular vette is the way to go.

I am loving the Vette. It is a new experience for me. It is a much different car, you sit very low, the car handles like its on rails and the twin-turbos build power much differently as they spool than my KB did. The sound of the cammed and ported LS1 is very unique, like a Ford Mod motor is unique. I am digging the 6-speed and so is my 19 year old son. I am re-uphosltering the seats this weekend with the new seat covers Neil included in the trade.
I think we will both be happy on this deal. Neil got a great Stang. It has been a great car for me and I have every receipt for every modification, part and service. The black paint is flawless. I would love to have the opportunity Neil has to own a Stang and a Vette but two kids in college means I am just not able to do that. So after 5 years of S197 it will be C5 time for a while. U still have a fox to play with. We are converting it from an AOD to T5 right now in the garage.
