switched power source??

Default switched power source??

does anyone have any suggestions for where to splice into a switched power source on the 05 stang--i'm installing some subs and was wondering where the best place would be.

for the amp, there is a wire that goes to the battery and another that detects when the car has been turned on. the other wire needs to go to a switched power source--one that only receives electricity when the vehicle is running

you mean the remote wire, it's suppose to hookup to your deck, usually the power int. wire, or some new decks actually have the amp wire. find a wiring diagram of the radio and look for a remote wire that will turn it on, when the deck comes on.

You still need to hook your signal wire up to your head unit though...
