Hey everyone i just turned 17 and i bought myself an '07 mustang gt, and i was wondering if i could get some suggestions on performance parts. By this time next year i want to supercharge it, so im trying to avoid buying parts that may not fit the supercharging kit. any ideas? I also want to upgrade my brakes, i was wondering if anyone had suggestions on brake conversions kits for the front and back.
Thanks Matt

What type of supercharger are you thinking of buying? Are you looking for high rpm power or low to mid range power? Also, and this is just my opinion, I would buy the supercharger first and then build around it, but this depends on how much patience you have and how much money you have to spend.

Evidently not enough patience to use the search function

How much $$ dough you got to work with?
Thats the determining factor for any advice here.
The mods abound and it can turn into a $$ pit really fast.
Go to the magazine store and browse the mustang mags for
some ideas.
Back issues are available online.
www.motorz.tv for you that are on a high speed internet connection.

First step is to see what mods if any have already been performed.
And check for the dreaded water leak second.....

If you plan to SC, then do that. Dont waste money on cai, tune, or any bolt ons. Whats your budget? It always cost more than you think.

If you're sure you're going to go FI, then I suggest you begin working on the suspension. You'll have to do it anyway to hook-up.

I would also look into getting wider wheels and tires for the rear..

If you're going to SC it then any performance mods other then long tube headers would be a waste. Perhaps you can do some suspension mods like rear lower control arms, k-member brace etc... I wouldn't do anything performance wise though, save your money and get the SC quicker.

@CyberGT i have been looking at getting deep dish rims for the back, do you think if i stick with the 18X10's i should be ok? and i was looking at continental ExtremeContact DW tires. Would i be able to put the 17in rims from the 99-04 mustangs on my car, because i would love to have the 17X10.5 so i could put 315's on for the rear tires.
thanks again everyone
