Default Anyone having trouble breaking their tires loose?

I have an auto vert with steeda CAI and predator tune(I've used both the 91 and 93 octane tune) and can't seem to break the rear tires loose from a standstill.
I have the car in drive, I hit the TCS OFF button on the dash smash the throttle...and nothing, The car launches with only the slightest bit of slip. I don't think the asphalt is grippier here nor do I think my pirrilli's are stickier than anyone elses (34 PSI).
It sounds like I'm not putting out as much torque/power as others with the auto here. I haven't tried power-braking it yet, but it seems others here don't need to...am I wrong?

Really? I don't know about automatics, but with traction control off in my 5 speed manual, I have to be careful all the time or my tires break loose.

what about 3/4 throttle? Do you notice a diff?

No, Ive not really paid attention to that. Maybe its the extra weight in the back in the vert with the top down? I'm getting kinda bummed. But throttle response is excellent and no noticeable drop off at the 1-2 shift. (Informal timing to 60 (stopwatch) shows I'm in the five's.

dr bob, it must be because the verts are heavier. these cars are heavy to begin with, so i am sure your car is a couple of hundred pounds more than a hard top. i dont have an auto so i am kinda in the same boat with bahbahblacksheep. just a little throttle and it will break them loose. i wonder if the verts have the same gears as a hard top?

Convertible-3658lb.
Coupe-3560lb.
Ford did a good job at giving the new Mustang convertible a diet. So I dont think its because its a convertible.

Turn Overdrive off too. I have an Auto and with TCS off and O/D off I can break the tires loose. Its probably not as easy as with a manual, but with O/D off the rpms goes higher before shifting and it seems to punch it better.
