Default 7.5" Rear End Axle Bearings

My rear axle bearings are a howling.
I was going to change soon them but wondered
if there are any better bearings out there than
the standard parts store variety?

I have seen Raytec bearings in the mustangs unlimited catalog
but wonder if they are not just NKG or *** bearings relabeled...

Anyone have any experience with the S197
rear 7.5" axle bearings?
Will I find the axle bearing surfaces on the axles
too scored to accept new bearings?

Any thought before I get myself into this job and cant get out?

I'm not familiar with the 7.5 axel, but if it is similiar to the 8.8 , it should'nt be too much trouble to change them out. Raytec sells good stuff. Ive bought a couple gear install kits plus some specialty tools from them, and its all been top quality. I dont remember the brand of the bearings, but im sure its american made and not chinese garbage.
