Default 2011 Flowmaters installed

Took my car this weekend and had a set of Flowmaster 40's installed on it. Love the sound, makes it sound like it actually has 416hp. The factory exhaust was just WAY to quiet on the new 5.0. The Flows really wake it up, just like they did on the 2V & 4V 4.6's. I will post a few pics later today until I can get a video of it.

Here you can see the mufflers with the factory resonaters

here you can see the custom H pipe with a "twist"

here you can see it all from the rear

Glad you are happy with the new set up. I find all/every Mustang that rolls off the line is way to quiet and requires performance exhaust. I was wondering how the new 5.0 sounded with Flows as I had them on the old 5.0 back in the day ie 1990. I was going to go with the Flows on the 500 and ended up with magnaflows instead. For the classic musclecar sound in my opinion you can't beat the Flows (40's). At first I was disappointed with my Magna's but they have slowly started coming around re sound but I still think I should have waited and put the 40's on her. Again congrats and enjoy the in car symphony!

Don't feel any power difference, wasn't really expting to, but the sound is SO much better. The factory exhaust was good when you were on it hard but you just couldn't hear it at idle. I will try to get avideo clip posted today or tomorrow.

Ohh a mid mounted flow setup. Now THIS I gotta hear.

That sure is a funny looking H pipe. I wonder if it would be possible to have a "regular" H or X pipe but still mid mount these flows?

I am also intrigued by that mid mount configuration, didn't know there was any room there. Also, if you would, please take some video/audio. I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to do the exhaust on mine.

I am thinking that the OP just replaced the stock axlebacks with flow 40s. I know the come in different tube sizing so they should make a set that could replace the stock axlebacks.

Prolly no trumpeting with the mid mount. Like the custom V pipe! LOL

Damn govt. computer. I can't see the pics. I should have re-read the 1st post and not assume that replaced the stock mufflers.
