The are straight through like SLPLM and boomtubes but the tips have built in Louver core resonators where as boom tubes have perforated tips.

Mine stick out about 3 inches so it must be due to the different bumpers between the '10 and the 05-09

yeah how do you like yours? so far i am loving mine. i have noticed they shake alittle when i have the car idle and im look at them. i have the hangers nice and tight on there.

I like them a lot, they're really loud when i want them to be and mellow when just cruising. I had flowmaster 40's before and these just blow those away. I get a lot of head turns (good and bad). Just an awesome feeling to get on it and it puts a huge smile on my face.

I'm glad I found this post, because I'm about to buy the Pype Bombs too and I wanted some feedbacks on them. After reading all the posts, I'm definitely going with these but I have one more question:

I was gonna buy them from American Muscle and I saw that you can add the "Exhaust Hanger Kit" for another 40$ do you need this kit to install the Pype Bombs or will they fit on your stock Hangers?
