Buy '11 GT Base model and add premium features?

soo has anybody found out how to add mycolor to a base model? I'm looking to get the base '13 with the 301 package that comes with the leather steering wheel already and living in louisiana, leather is not a must but i would def like to see if its possible and how much would it cost.

The guage stuff is nice for one day, lol. Nothing big to me...Premium will be easier to sell if needed.

I would not pay 3k for those two items.

Yea so I called ford and my price for the cluster off the premium would be 473. I think I'll see if they can swap n save sum money

I'm in the same boat, the only feature I want above Base is Sync or something similar. Can you buy and add the sync system after the fact?

not really sure, but i know that if u get the base u can get the tech package which includes the sync and all the sync services for $1195

can they add that if I pick up a used one? I don't see why not, I imagine it shouldn't be any more difficult than switching out the head unit.

well i don't think its just the headunit, u also have the button on the steering wheel to activate it.

I have a base 2010 gt. Didn't think I needed a premium at the time but I rode in a premium recently and fell in love with it.
