Wink

Tell u what..drive a mustang with 4:10's and a Saleen with 3.6 pulley(~7-8psi) and ur mind will be made up. The time it takes the Paxton or the Vortech to kick in the Saleen (with the 4:10's) is gone...the instant power is intoxicating!!

I think another guy said something similar. I guess i was thinking with the low end torque that the saleen provided would be to much with 410's but if u guys say its awesome i may just go with a saleen. Too bad I didnt know someone around here that could give me a ride so i could feel what it was like.

I was in the same situation last year before I bought my Saleen but then I went for a ride in a GT with a Saleen and 3.73s and that sold me... it feels like an old school big block motor, just instant power and torque.

At that time, three of my good friends has blown GTs, two with Helion Turbos and the other with a Paxton Novi... all took time to spool up, but they made great power up top. The Saleen on the other hand was power right away... no waiting.

The funny thing is that to me, the turbo'd GTs felt a little faster because of the way they built the power. They have more of a high end surge while the Saleen, Whipple, Edlebrock all build power very smoothly.

I have 3.31s right now and even with those it's a beast in 1st and 2nd... but in January I'm getting 3.73s and a new 1-piece driveshaft so it's going to be even more fun. :-)

^^ might as well get some new tires while you're at it. That twin screw, 4.10 auto + cams.. you're gonna need all the traction you can get!

Ditto... I'd still much rather have a centri.
