Thumbs up Royal Purple Syncromax review

I change my transmission fluid on my 06 GT a few months ago. I have had it for 4 years and it has a little over 25000 miles. I decided to change to RP Syncromax. After the change i notice that shifting became a little more difficult. One to two shift were more difficult. I kept missing 3rd gear. The transmission did have a more solid feel, less jerky. I recheck the fluid level and everything look good. I was convinced that i would need to change back to Mercron V.
800 miles later, the shifting became much easier, butterly smooth. I give RP syncromax two thumbs up!

Did I miss something? If you took it out after 800 miles because of the horrible shifting why is it getting 2 thumbs up?

He didn't change it. I'm still using synchromax. It still runs way cooler than it did with the stock fluid. Mine has always shifted the same.

I ran RP Synchromax for a couple of years, no complaints. Recently, since I have become an Amsoil "Prefered Buyer", I switched to Amsoil Universal ATF. I believe the tranny does shift a little better than with the Synchromax. IMO.

OK. The way I read it he swapped it out because the trans was grinding and notchy, but then again it was late at night when I read it. I'm thinking of changing the fluid in mine I just hit 20,000miles so what would you guys recommend.
