Default Not sure

I am not entirely sure that I am allowed to do this, but I have started a Facebook group dedicated to car junkies helping other car junkies. I tried to find a way to contact a admin on the site and just couldn't. The group is new and very few members as of now, but once it grows in size, then maybe it will be helpful in getting information on how to do jobs and trouble shoot problems with the performance of a vehicle, the name of the group is *Cars & Trucks Help*. I created the group to help one another and end the struggle and aggravation of finding info. about solutions on the web to our automotive problems.

Now, I personally am a ford person and appreciate the speed, power, and dependability that Ford has delivered to us through the generations. However, not to make you mad or offend you, but I think the V6 is a travesty to the mustang.
However, professionally there is not a whole lot you can do to ramp up the power on a V6 without spending out a lot of cash. Cheapest way is a (Cold Air Intake, Chip it, and you can try a tornado for your specific make and model,) Now, with several upgrades, hours, and dollars spent later you can increase the overall performance of the car to exceptional. However, it may be cheaper and faster to find a V8 and wiring harness (if they differ) and swap them out.

Post pics and we can better help you with recommendations

As far as Cold Air Intakes, look on Americanmuscle.com and get one with a custom tune. The tune does much more than the intake itself

The very first thing I did was tint my windows to prevent the leather from fading(only cost $100). I would start there.

Thumbs up Need Help Just Got A 2006 Mustang

The Ford Mustang is manufactured by the Ford Motor Company. It was initially based on the second generation North American Ford Falcon, a compact car. Introduced early on April 17, 1964, the 1965 Mustang was the automaker's most successful launch since the Model A.
