Default Will 2010 GT Flowmaster exhaust fit a 2011 GT?

Just what the title implies. Anyone know if they are the same mufflers or not? Thanks in advance.

Differences I am aware of are the 10 has a slip fit to connect to the factory exhaust rather than the "ball joint" type the 11 has. The 10 has 2 hangers vs. the 11 which has 3. Supposedly, Flowmaster designed the new 11 muffler for the sound of the new 5.0. Using the 10 kit on a 11 would be difficult without taking it to a muffler shop and would involve cutting/welding. My 11 American Thunder kit took me about 45 min. to install and I didn't even have to lift the car. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the message,
can you describe how does it sounds (I don't really want something too loud), not to get noticed by the cops in NY!

Are these the MUFFLERS only? no tuning needed?
Thank you again,
LCL

axle backs do not require a retune.
the only time you would need a retune would be if you take out the cats and you need to shut off the rear O2 sensors

considering the 2010 flowmaster kit i installed didn't fit the 2010 without some mods, if you try it i would go to a muffler shop and save yourself some serious hassle. They had to cut brackets, bend things, heat things, and trim pipes just to get the flows on my 10.
