No offense, but instead of PM'ing the guy, waiting for him to sift through God knows how many messages in his inbox, and then getting pissed that he didnt respond right away, why not try and call him? He has his phone number and extension available, I am sure any other tech at AM would be glad to help you as well. Just sayin

Aggressive shifting does not mess with a
transmission as much as the slushy slippy
servo band lockups of the plush cadillac
style transmissions. Slipping bands to
change gears like creamy butter just
wears them out faster. Now shift that gear
like you mean it, i.e. snappier, and the
bands dont slip as much and last longer...
You cant beat up these motors when cold.
They run right out of the starters box.
No warm-up needed for the modern engines.
Its just a waste of fuel to let them 'warm-up'
before driving in fear of pre-mature bearing
failure or excessing ring wear without proper
clearances from being cold.
The open loop fuel management mode
does not like to be hot rodded but will
if pressed but as soon as the O2 sensors
warm up enought to start sending valid
readings to the PCM and it goes into closed
loop fuel management mode, its Katie, bar the door time....

To the OP: I just though of something: This race tune you bought, was it customized just for your car with all the mods you have in it? Or is it a cookie cutter race tune?
If it is a cookie cutter race tune, it might have been written for a bone stock 'Stang and your mods might be why your car is revving up. Other than what is in your sig, I have no clue what other mods you have.
Likewise, if the tune was written just for your car considering all you mods you have in it, your car might HAVE to ramp up way high in warm-up.
I am taking guesses here so I could be wrong. I am not a tuner nor do I claim to be any sort of expert in any of that stuff.
Also, since you are in a hot state (never snows or gets cold during winder, well, not like it does in Arkansas for example), I personally don't see why you would need such a high RPM. But again, that is only my uneducated guess.

Yea, it was specific to my mods. Still haven't heard anything from Chris Rose after PM'ing him on 2 different forums. He may be busy. I'm gonna go with the benefit of the doubt for awhile.

I just recieved the 4th version of this 93 Race tune from BAMA and IT'S FIXED! Warmup is "normal" now without the ramping up of the motor when cold. Nice and normal now.
Wonder what the fix was......lol.
