Aftermarket Headlights

Aftermarket Headlights
I saw a pic on a website of the front end of a new GT with the crappy plastic headlight covers removed and tinted ones placed further back in front of the headlights revealing the two louvers that are inside the headlight compartment. I would post a pic so you guys would know what I was talking about, but I can't remember where the hell I saw it. Anyway, if any of you know what I mean and where I can get the conversion kit let me know. Thanks.

That looks like the clear plastic cover is still there, just with painted insides...

RE: Aftermarket Headlights
From what I've read of the design process for the 2005 Mustang, you would not want to remove the headlight covers because they were put there to improve the aerodynamics of the car. The engineers came up with them when the powers that be demanded the classic round headlights.
I imagine that someone might develop a complete replacement headlight assembly to resemble some of the options that were evaluated during the design processes. The one I saw was very modern, basically replacing the round unit with a unit that fills in the entire area between the current headlights and the clear cover. I like the classic look but I know others would like something different.
