Default Sport Mode on 2010 GT

So I was playing around and found out I have sport mode on my 2010 GT (hitting the traction control button twice while at a stop with foot on the brake). I hadn't noticed this before I took it in the shop last time and I have played with it many times. I have 3.55 gears.

I thought sport mode was only available on 2010 Mustang GT with track pack/3.73 gears...

But I am reading now it was avaliable on all 2010 GT premiums?

yes its with all premiums. there are several settings.

advancetrac on
traction control off
sport mode on (allows more spirited driving as the advancetrac system lets the car spin slightly more and get sideways slightly more)
advancetrac off (turns everything off) - have to be stopped, foot on brake, push button for 5 seconds

personally i turn advancetrac off everytime i get in the car unless its raining

What about for the deluxe model too? I always turn the tc off when I get in the car, so long as its not raining, but do I also have sport mode?

You don't have to be at a stop.. just have brake applied (even a little) and clutch in.

Heh....

This is news to me. I just thought it was TC on/off.

I'll have to play with this over the weekend.

you have to be completely stopped to turn advancetrac completely off.

for sport mode, you just need to have your foot on the brake and tap the button twice

Maybe it's different with the 2010s, but I can turn Advancetrack on and off while driving....at least it says it's off when you press the button once.

oh maybe. with the 2010s if you push the button once, no matter whether your driving or stopped, it turns the traction control on and off. to turn advance track off though you have to be stopped with foot on the brake and hold the button for 5 seconds.

I could be wrong then...it says "advancetrack off", but it may be just turning the TC off. I'll press and hold for 5 seconds to see if it gives me a different message.

--edit-- Your right...press once and it says "traction control off", press and hold says "advance track off". Guess I wasn't paying attention
