New Tires - Advise Needed
#11
I am not going to drive this car in crazy weather. I just said if it is snowing I will work from home. But I do need something that won't go crazy if a frosting of snow is on the ground.
I have narrowed it down to several tires
1. Continental ExtremeContact DWS
2. Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position
3. Yokohama ADVAN S.4.
4. Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus
All of them seem to be great all around tires. The continental and the Michelin seem to have the highest life. Any suggestions?

I had the Potenzas on my '05 Lincoln LS--very nice good handling yet smooth riding tire. OK in a couple inches of snow, I did have Blizzaks for the deep winter (in Illinois at the time). Considering them for my new GT--think they'd be a great match. Can't tell ya much about wear--they were on the LS when I traded it for the "Stang--maybe 25,000 miles, still good tread.

Haha glad to hear someone's got at least as many miles as I have on the Pirellis! I got 47k on mine and they're starting to look a little thin. I can't believe people are getting less than 30k? Do you guys smoke 'em at every light or something??
