Exclamation Need Some Help Power Adders!

hey i havent been on here in awhile but i need some help in deciding on what to do for my car. Heres my deal. Ive always loved the Whipple H.O. kit but just recently fell in love with the Paxton Novi 2200 SL H.O. kit that brenspeed is selling. Both would be perfect for myself and my car but i have a little problem in deciding. So if i go paxton with the price difference i can get it here by January next year. If i go whipple then id have to wait till next summer at the earliest. Let me know what you guys think.

Paxton? or Whipple?? Thanks!

Those are both great kits. The Paxton is the clear winner from a price perspective as its about $1400 cheaper. It'll also put down about 480rwhp on 93 octane at sea level. The Whipples are awesome, but pricey when you compare it to other packages on the market. You won't go wrong with either one IMO. The power delivery is going to be the big difference here. That Whipple is going to be a tire spin show off the line where as the Paxton is going to start pulling like mad at about 3000 rpm.

Maybe this will help you a bit in your decision.

It's not like my opinion is biased or anything...

Well if your really price strapped here don't forget the "what if fund". That's the oh **** I blew my motor or trans or clutch and need to replace. Its something to consider if you go the FI route. 480 rwhp is pushing the limits.......

whipple has low end torque, paxton get mad in the high power band~ u wont be wrong with either one, its not right that u wont feel anything with paxton, u do feel the power even u are not in the power range. i vote for paxton, my paxton got 487rwhp without any other mods~

THIS. Both great kits, I just could never justifify the cost on the whipple. Even against other twin screw kits. People who buy the whipple, usualy buy it cause they want a Whipple. Theres a stigmatism amungst some people that the numbers dont matter the Whipple is just better no matter what you say. Clearly I dont by into it, but you will see people that will....
