buy my pypes violator mufflers. they are quieter than the pype bombs, but still give a lot of volume.

option 1. switch to o/r x pipe
option 2. change out the catback including the glasspacks for a different axle back without the glasspacks.

the cats + the glasspacks are making it too quiet. you gotta take out 1 of the 2.
it will be easier to switch out the midpipe. unless you have to pass inspection.

Perhaps the glasspacks are too long. I had a prochamber w/hi-flow cats with SLP LM. That set-up was a little too loud for me, so I had 14" (from tip to tip) glasspacks/resonators welded in. This took away enough of the volume and it was still loud enough. I then swapped the prochamber for a pypes catted x. This changed the tone slightly. Next I picked up a set of MACs and would swap them with the SLP LM every so often. Believe it or not, the MACs sounded better with this set-up.

I think I will try a different axle-back. I no longer have the stock H-pipe and I don't want to remove the cats and then have to put them back when inspection time comes.

I don't think you can get much louder than pype bombs. Perhaps SLP LM or Pypes muffler deletes would be a little louder.

I actually heard SLP LM are quiter, that's what I was considering getting instead. The Pypes without resonators were very loud and had a great amount of drone.

LM or deletes will be slightly louder than the pype bomb
the pype bomb is somewhere in between LM and boomtubes
boomtubes have more baffles inside vs the pype bomb, and LM have none.
some of that drone is coming from the cats.

i think your easiest solution is to go to a catless midpipe.

I might also want to get Long Tube Headers somewhere down the line so the Pype Bombs and SLP's aren't sounding so good anymore lol.

Do you think the SLP's would have as much drone?
