Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials

Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials
Is anyone using the combo of 26x11.5x17 ET Street radials and 17x8 Bullitt rim as sold on the Brenspeed site? The Mickey Thompson site recommends a 9-11" rim, but Brenspeed says an 8" will work fine, and I was wondering if anyone here has tried this and has any opinions.
I also calculated that the slicks will be 40 revs/mile more than my current tires. Am I correct in believing that it should not be an issue for just a few runs down the drag strip every one can a while?
Thanks.

and yeah the 40 rev/mile difference is fine. the only thing that will be really affected will be your speedo.

YOu can drive there just fine on them.
The 26x11.5x17 tires aren't radials, they are bias ply. Totaly different and IMO, I like them better than the radials. They last twice as long, hook better and are cheaper.
They are tubeless, fit perfect on a 17 OEM S197 wheel, which is what I run them on. My best 60' is a 1.59.
Also DOT legal.

I have those M/T mounted to my 17x8 rims. They fit just fine. I only using for the drag strip. If you are just going to use it for the strip, which I would recommend, I wouldn't worry about revs per. mile.

I'm selling a pair of GT rims and 26x11.5x17 ET Streets already mounted and balanced. I actually bought them from Brenspeed and they have less than ten passes on them. I switched to a 15" rim and tire combo so I don't need them anymore. If you're interested, PM me and I'll send you pics.
