I'd guess that your dipstick would pop from crank case pressure long before the oil filter seal.

I havent worked on that motor but I'd think you'd need serious oil pressure to pop the seal having seen ordinary filters stay sealed at 100psi on other morors.

Crankcase pressures do not effect the oil filter seal.
Not sure where you are going on this one...

You ran it for less than 15 minutes or so ? Just drain the oil and step up to 10-w30 and drive it. You may of had a sufficient oil film to minimize damage. I ran an old school Boss 302 with a seized oil pump for 3 or so miles once and a 260 fairlane for 14 miles without oil pressure , most likely you have some main bearing damage , a thicker film oil could help. nothing to lose motor could run ok for another 20 k or so.

Wow that sucks. My neighbor did that once with a numbers matching 1970Chevelle convertible 396. Within moments it wrecked the original engine and he wound up having to replace it with a crate motor instead.
