Default After six long years my Mustang GT is paid off.

I joined the Mustang Forums Dec 24 of 2004 with six years of payments to look forward too. The best mod I would have to say was the 4.10 gears and the best mod for the money was the American Muscle Strut Tower Brace. This car still runs great with 87,000 miles and I'm in forever in love with the mustang. Will I buy a new one? No , after getting a speeding ticket a few weeks ago I learned it isn't really necessary to be faster as much as it is necessary to be in the accordance of the law. Being in law enforcement it is necessary for me to stay in good standings. I need my license and I need to be free of 400 dollars plus car payments for a while. Ya'all take care and Merry Christmas.

4.10 gears, C/L CAI/Brenspeed tunes,Mac Axlebacks and Prochamber with cats, Steeda Underdrive pullys and American Muscle Strut Tower Brace.

I'm trying to pay mine off in 24 months, but it's alot of work setting the money aside each month. I borrowed 16k though, and paid the rest in cash... :/

It's a nice feeling isn't it!!! After having car payments in my younger years I swore I would try to avoid them at all costs. I was fortunate enough to pay cash for my 07 GT. I had been saving up for years to get my 66 Galaxie restored. Then I found my stang and used the restoration money to buy her....I don't regret it for one second. It's now four years later and after more saving the Galaxie just went into the restoration shop...life is good!!

Congrats on that slip of paper now being yours. I've been fortunate since my last car payment was sometime in 2004. The last 3 vehicles have been... payment free.

Payment free is awesome. Had mine paid off in three years. Plus all mods were paid for in cash. Everything is mine
