Default LT install. Need some quick help disconnecting steering rod.

Now I need help with the steering rod. Is the little brown bolt the one that needs to come out?

Alright, I'm 2 hours into my install, been going smooth so far.

What I've read says to use a 2x4 under the passenger side of the block to raise the engine. Where is that spot?

Here's my under shot. Am I even looking in the right area?

There are two ways I know of to jack the motor. One is to put a telephone book under the pan, then a board and jack on the board.

The other involves using a piece of billet metal along the front oil pan bolts and using that for a jacking point.

Good luck.

Thanks, I used the oil pan phone book method, except I use roll of paper towel since I don't have a phone book.
