Default Question about wheel spacers

I ordered some 18x9 Bullitts that don't quite clear the calipers on the front, was sent two quarter inch spacers which is fine with me but tire stores refuse to touch them and pretty much tell me I'd be stupid to use them on a daily driver. I never thought spacers were a big deal. Any advice?

Where, first, off, did you get 18x9 bullits? Are they '05 style or '00+ style? I'm looking for 18x9 to 18x10 range Bullits and can't find any '05 style rims to save my life.

Hope this helps!

I don't see a correction on their web site yet, but the Mustang Tuning wheels are not the correct offset to clear the front calipers. Those are the one that require a quarter of an inch spacer. I tried to get several other wheels, but they were all custom build so I just took what I could get. Mustang tuning says the wheel maker didn't fit them on the GT, only the v6 and assumed they were the same.

Seems that the V6'ers are having the same issues and we are. The offset is not correct.

So what offset is correct? +36 +45 or other?

I've got 18X9 Black Chrome wheels with 36 offset and there was no problem clearing the calipers. Got mine from AFS Wheels.
