Default Department of boost supercharger?!?!

Alright guys,
I have found a complete kit off of a blown up motor for 3,000. Should I jump on it?!? Literally everything is there in the kit and it would give me a safe 450 rwhp.

There's a few folks here who have them (908ssp comes to mind) and they seem to swear by them. Reliable supercharger and a safe amount of horsepower from what I've read.

If I had the cash I'd be all over it.

Safe is in the tune. I'm not yet convinced by these pieced together kits, but some guys on here love them. Make sure you find a tuner that can do a better job than the last guy who had it.

I applaud the guy for producing the intake manifold, but it is quite the ugly duck.

Spending your last $3,000 on a supercharger is a bad idea and you still need a tune for it.

Omg....that was great!!

Moose makes another great point..... Don't go FI if you can barely afford to. Sh$t goes bad sometimes, then you gotta fix it.

Hey 2009 Eleanor.....Do you know this Guy ? Was Supercharger inspected/checked out ?
Personally, I would be very concerned as to what pieces of his blown motor made it's way up into the supercharger. You would be surprised as to where some of the shrapnel ends up !!

They are absolutely as reliable as anybody elses 450 rwhp maybe more so with OEM ford parts.
